Suppression vs Chosen Silence

Not all silence is suppression.
Some people speak less because they've been silenced.
Others speak less because they've reclaimed their power.
Suppression is fear-based. It says:
> “If I speak, there will be consequences.”
Chosen silence is power-based. It says:
> “I don't owe you my energy.”
We’ve been taught to equate silence with weakness—but in truth, there is nothing more potent than the silence that comes from discernment.
You don’t have to react to every projection.
You don’t have to defend your truth.
You don’t have to explain your path to people who never intended to walk it with you.
Your voice is sacred.
But so is your stillness.
And when silence is chosen—not forced—it becomes a statement all of its own.
